Who this covers
Nurtura is a baby-care and development app for adult parents and caregivers. It is not intended for children to use independently. The operator is identified below. This policy covers the app and this informational website.
What you choose to record
On your device, Nurtura stores baby profiles, feeding and sleep entries, diaper changes, growth and health records, milestones, memories and any media you add. These may contain sensitive child information. You can use local care records without enabling family synchronization. Device backups and exported copies are under your control.
Accounts and family sharing
Google or Apple sign-in provides an account identifier, email and available profile details through Firebase Authentication. When you enable family sharing, baby profiles and supported care records are stored in Google Cloud Firestore so authorized family members can access them. Family owners manage invitations, roles and permissions. Apple relay email addresses can be used for accounts.
Subscriptions and optional menu generation
Apple or Google processes payments. RevenueCat receives a Firebase user identifier and purchase, product and subscription status to validate Premium access. Nurtura does not receive your full payment-card details. If you request an online generated menu, the service sends the baby profile, care-record context and previous menus to the configured AI provider (DeepSeek or OpenAI). Generated menus are saved with the family. Do not use this feature unless you are comfortable sharing that context; it is not medical advice.
Optional analytics and this website
App analytics are disabled until you choose to allow them. Firebase Analytics receives allowlisted interaction events and technical context when enabled. The app does not intentionally put baby names, care notes, media or account emails into analytics events. You can change this preference in the app. This website has no tracking scripts, advertising cookies or active mailing-list form. Your hosting provider may process connection information, including IP address and access logs, to deliver the site.
Storage, retention and international processing
Local records remain on your device until you delete them. Shared records remain in your family until deleted. Google, RevenueCat, store providers and any selected menu provider may process information in countries outside yours under their own service arrangements. Generated menus, usage metadata, service backups and legally necessary transaction records may require separate support-assisted cleanup or follow provider retention rules. Detailed retention and operator arrangements must be finalized before public release.
Your choices and deletion
You can export local data, delete records on your device, stop sharing, manage analytics consent and delete your account. Local deletion alone does not remove cloud records. A family owner must delete the family before deleting their account. Member-account deletion does not remove another owner’s family records. Exported copies, other devices and store subscription records are not remotely erased. See the account-deletion page for instructions and the email request route.

Contact the public support address below for access, correction, deletion or other privacy questions. We may verify account ownership before acting. Do not send sensitive child records by email. Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated date.
